1:15PM, storms have passed for the day. Only a 10 percent chance of any rain and beautiful 80 degree sunny weather on tap. Some big names in the area with selinsgrove on their schedule. The Iceman, Scrub, T-Mac, and many more are expected to challenge one of the east coast's winningest drivers on his home turf which he remains unbeaten so far this year. Sounds like the recipe for an incredible night of racing!!!

Nick Dickson wins the opener! Was great to see all the cars show up 51 total. Really wished the track wasnt so dry from all the wind and heat this past week. Was mostly a one lane race with very little racing more like a follow the leader but still a good race. Anyone going to Williamsgrove Tuesday? I'm thinking about making the run.

I'm glad they stayed with it and got it in, but, a couple passes along the top with the water truck during intermission might have made the top raceable. My only complaint, and it didn't really matter in the end, was the lap 1 caution. Dixon was clearly into turn 1 before the caution flew, why the complete restart???

I think it was a great show! Not the best I've ever seen, but certainly not the worst! Kudo's to SG speedway staff. The show went pretty smooth and the track was in good condition compaired to past LM specials. Yes, maybe they could have added some water to the surface but they didn't. It was Nicks night and I'm glad he won! Now on to WG, Lincoln, Port, and maybe Bedford!

So much for that! Wilson DNQ at WG. But he wasn't the only decent car not to. It's a tough sport. And Super 2J was mid pack again.
