Won't be long now!!! Should be some GOOD shows! From what I am hearing there could be some high profile drivers hitting some of the nights...

IF you look at by the hour forecasts this weekend the higher chances are in the morning on Sunday for the Selinsgrove race. It goes down to 30% by I think 3 then to 0 by 7

The weather channel has less than a 30 percent chance of rain after 4 pm. That is surely enough for them to cancel by noon for sure. Their weather man is probably rounding the number much higher I would assume. It is late models too. If they do race, it should be one heck of a race for runnerup. Yes Scott, I was only being sarcastic. No reason to get defensive over a half a dozen bad calls now is there? ;D

Sorry to hear the opener was rained out at Hagerstown. I went to Selinsgrove for the URC show which was cancelled due to a forecast of rain. It never did rain at Selinsgrove but expect another cancellation for the Sunday speedweek show if there is ANY rain on the radar within the state. It's tough to see a parking lot full of race cars get sent home due to a forecast. Looking forward to Winchester on Monday.

Well in all truth I watched the radar all day long as I was planning on going to selinsgrove myself and there was just a mass of rain headed this way and it had reached state college is when selinsgrove decided to cancel. Which unfortunately the rain then broke up and I really dont think they got much if any but look at all the other tracks. They ALL cancelled even after they tried to get their shows started. So whats better get everyone there including the fans get hot laps in and then cancel after waiting to see if the rain lifts? Or cancelling early enough before everyone shows up when there was such a real threat to rain?
Right now almost the entire state is under a tornado watch but its only until 2 pm so hopefully the rain and crappy weather will move out and we can go racing tonight!

5 miles from Speedway very small band is going through. Nothing behind it for the rest of the night. I hope he waits because the track should be able to run in. They had it packed tight yesterday already when I got there.
