as for Scott Flammer I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he has other racing commitments in a NY 305 Sprint car and possibly a modified ride too. His racing schedule was varied this year BUT exspect him to be back this Saturday for the Joe Whitcomb Memorial ( & RoadRunner 20- no he's not running in the Road Runners just wanted to give credit to the dual event)

Shultz was also not a W.G. last Tuesday evening. Maybe he was taking a break or something. Garland was at W.G. last Tuesday. Boland is the one that does not make any sense. He was 7th in points when he left to run Port for one race, and he was at Susky last evening. Hopefully he comes back to S-grove. Selinsgrove was by far his best track this season.

Boland told my Uncle that he would be at Selinsgrove evry week unless he wrecked his car. Well he didn't wreck but he left about 2 weeks late after he said that!

matt told me earlier in the year that he never raced a full season anywhere but his plan was to do so this year at SG. of course there are always things that alter ones course during the season. drivers don't get but 1 or 2 chances a year or in their career to run other tracks so maybe he figured he’d give port a shot. I thought he had a good shot at winning or at least a good finish out there. As far as last week, with the weather he may have thought the financial risk of towing up wasn’t worth it. And of course it’s the time of year when equipment and money start running out. Of course whatever the reasons are, they’re his, he’s entitled to them and we should respect them. I for one though am hoping for his return. He runs decent here and as I’ve found talking to him every week he’s a nice guy win or lose, good night or bad.

28 isn't done for the year, it's done forever. Some has been sold. What remains is for sale.

They hired the wrong guy in the first place. They chose Chuck over Matt Heimbach thats their loss.

Well let's start by saying that matt is a great guy and has alot of heart on the race track. But any way either you guys sit in the stands and just don't have a clue or your some dumbass from the pit area who thinks they know alot but don't. How many cars did Paige really wreck, I could count it on one hand but how many motors blew up? Hmmm well his first year it wasn't to bad if I remember he won some heat races and led laps over all not a bad first year. Year 2 he blew the motor up 4 times and it was rebuild a total of 6 times. I think $$$$$$$$!!!!! As for this year yes they junked a car in the beginning of the year but who doesn't. Your buddy matt did just last night although not his fault and I felt bad for him but it just prove everyone wrecks cars. But they blew the same motor 2 time already this year and again alot of $$$$$$ was spent. Regardless of who was in that car the fords wouldn't of stayed together. Maybe matt couldve Fred flintstoned that shit. With no motor means no racing. Can't get any better till they have a motor that's worth racing.

If he were he wouldnt have been picked up to race in that car to begin with. And yes you have to equipment that stays together to run good. BUT... Matt is a 410 sprint champion at Clinton County and has had some real good runs over the years at selinsgrove. Yes racing accidents do happen cars get wrecked and what not but that 28 team had one of the worst starts to a season that Ive seen in a long time. And it seemed at the beginning that if you talked to Chuck that he was really optimistic that they had made some changes to the car and that he would be competetive. Didnt happen. And now they are done. But again your right about another thing. $$$ means alot in this sport.

i did not see anything official yet from port royal but i was told by someone who talked on the phone to someone at port that flammer and snyder were there. $800 to win, not sure of the rest of the purse but i sure don't understand it. but it is their choice.

Maybe they thought they had a better chance of winning with the 3 at Selinsgrove... Nate was at port finished 3rd. Didn't see anything that showed Flammer was there.
