After going to many different tracks over the past few weeks, people should appreciate what they have at Selinsgrove. Yes. The track may have been a little on the rough side last week, but it surely wasn't as rough as most of the other tracks in the past week or so. Then there's Susky that is so dry and hard that no passing takes place.
I really think that S-grove should get at least 30 cars each week. Some guys should start to realize what Selinsgrove has done for 358 racing and start to support the place. There are also some that should think before they start to complain about things. Just be happy that you have such a nice speedway to race at.

I really think that S-grove should get at least 30 cars each week. Some guys should start to realize what Selinsgrove has done for 358 racing and start to support the place. While what you say is true that the "other 358 teams don't support Selinsgrove " I have been around and asked more than several 358 drivers who rarely make a appearence at Selinsgrove or never have even for the National Opens " and their answers vary from complete BS to " That track is too fast.... You need a good motor to race there... If you go there you are racing for second place each week as Cannon and Heimbach mainly win every week !! " These other drivers are content to race at Trailways & Lincoln for points or because the track is easier on equipment or their motors aren't strong enough to compete. Did you also know that Lincoln's Track Champion in 2008 & 2009 came to the track twice and didn't even qualify for the race Selinsgrove has some if not the best group of 358 drivers week in and week out. As the Supersportsman drivers were told of the speeds of S-grove when they re visited Selinsgrove after a 5 years absence " if you don't keep the gas to the floor at Selinsgrove you should stay at home !! " Sure I'd like to see more drivers gain experience and visit Selinsgrove more often.. but these same drivers have their own reasons or financial pressures to stay where they are weekly. As I flim the races each week and I see a new drivers face & crew I say a thank you for coming to Selinsgrove to race and hope you return. If you have asperations of being one of the best you have to RUN with the BEST..... ~ Mike O'Brien Attachments:
