It was announced on RaceNY forum today that Vern, Kyle and Carol have leased Redline and will run it on Fridays in 2010... Leaves me wondering who is going to be minding the store here at Clinton County??

I emailed Kyle about this and he told me that they are going to be rotating personell between CC and redline as Kyle and vern would be switching every other weekend at the different track. CC will run every Friday with Kyle being there being the "store clerk" 1 week and vern the other week. Kyle said this is to help him get his feet wet running a track for himself which is only 20 minutes fro him.

Cool.... Hope everything works out for them.
Hope the Gambler deal goes through also. It would be nice to get the Pro Stock rules a little closer to the western Pa Street Stock rules they run up in the Clearfield area. Selinsgrove seems dead set on not letting Clinton County cars be legal down there, so it would be nice to have somewhere else to go on a Saturday if we wanted.

From what Kyle told me they are going to keep the SS rules and allow the Pro Stocks to race with them IF THEY PUT A 4BBL AND 10" WHEELS on.
He said since it is a 1/4 mile track you shouldnt need the 406 motor to be able to win there.

He's right about the motor, but, the big disadvantage is they are allowed a triple disc clutch which is a HUGE difference and they are also allowed 3 link suspension. After Friday night you can see how big of an advantage a 3 link is......

Once the deal is final we can talk to him about it. Theres a few of us that would like to go up there now and then. You could switch a leaf car to 3 link fairly easy and it would cost less than what most guys are spending on leaf springs throughout the year...
