From what I saw there was no meeting with the teams, looked and sounded like Smith and the other money teams approached Charlie and threatened him with going to another track if he enforced the new rules, saying it would take to much to change there cars and of course Charlie caved on the spot. If thats the case, then Charlie caved for no reason. Where are they gonna go?? Sounds like Port is enforcing the rules so they wouldn't be legal there. Most of the guys you are calling "money teams" are running dry sump motors so they aren't legal at Clinton. thats right you said a mouth full! charlie changed the rule back for who??how many(4-5)sounds like the feild he wants to have, everybody else just come and gimme your money to pay those guys with.(pack up and goto port)

I'm sure there will be more in the coming weeks as well. What a shame.

if something don't soon get done about the rules the 29 might end up going to port to. Last year I ran out there two times and loved it and the best part was that I could actually compete.

why dont you guys have your own meeting outside the track, with your cars.bet it doesnt take long for charlie to come out and join in,then maybe he would have to listen to the other side.

Sounds like a good plan but Charlie is just a prick he don't care about the low buck cars, just go to port and have fun then you don't have all this DRAMA every week!!

So where were the 28 and 21k last night? Had something to hide after the new rules took effect?

Well here is a surprise there was no teching for the prostocks last nite. Some may have changed we would'nt know. Because the greedy spinless one (AKA Charlie) did'nt follow thru. Now he is scared because he lost a couple thousand last nite because 8 plus cars did'nt show up in the pros. He prolly thinks it is because he claimed he was gonna change the rules and pissed guys off. I don't think thats the case talking to the drivers and teams they have spent so much already that they can't afford to build another $20'000 and can't afford to build a new car because they are so costly because of no restrictions. Port royal has the right idea put a compression rule on it. Then you don't have dumbasses paying 4-5-6000 for a set of heads to be maden and runing dry sumps etc and the racing will be much better. It won't be 4 5 cheatin rich bastards seeing who can make it to the line first to measure there penises. the lauvers, wray and the cars that don't have a chance to compete with the dollars. TAKE IT TO PORT ROYAL. As a fan of good racing thart will make good racing.

From what I heard Charlie gave them two weeks to comply with the changes so that would make it this week, so we'll see, hey at least it sounds like somebody is trying to real in the class, even if the year has started, we'll see what happens, it would be nice if they could get it back to the way it was, or at least close to how it was originally, thought it was always a good class to watch.

if you want to watch a good prostock race come to port, been a long time since five guys were fighting for the front spots.new rules and a tech man thats allowed to keep things right makes good racing.no drama about rules up there everone has the same book to follow.would be nice if the two tracks could get together on a rules package that way the cars could goto either track wiyhout changing stuff around.
