Mackeyville, PA – Friday, April 13th will be a five star show as the 4-cylinders, 270 Micro Sprints, Pro Stocks, and both new classes for 2012; the 305 sprints and IMCA Modifieds take on the 1/3-mile clay oval. The 305’s are no stranger to the raceway as they have had many tour dates over that past few seasons. The Nationally Sanctioned IMCA’s however, will have their inaugural event opening night and will kick it off with an Empire State Series race paying $1000 to win. The IMCA division will see a lot of familiar faces in 2012 including Late Model standout Jim Yoder, Pro Stock veterans George Fultz, Kevin VanAmburg, Dale Schweikert, Dick Swarmer, 4-cylinder graduate Eric Palski along with others. These drivers will take on some of the best drivers in the northeast in what is sure to be a highly coveted event. Gates open at 5:00pm with racing kicking off at 7:00. Clinton County Raceway is located approximately ½ mile from the Interstate 80/Route 220 interchange. More information can be found at clintoncountyraceway.com.
