I know the first race was a 1000.00 to win but what is it going to pay on a normal night? I was told a number but I sure do hope I was told wrong. 350.00 to win? ?

$350 to win $100 to take the green. The only track that pays more to win is DH2. I believe they pay $500 if 12 cars start the feature , less than 12 cars and its $350. They only pay $50 to take the green though, plus you have to pay a $10.00 registration fee every week. They don't pay near as well back through the field either. Clinton County has the highest total purse of any IMCA track in the eastern region. Most of the tracks pay $250 to win and $50 from 8th on back.

No IMCA is all about keeping cost down. We have a $1050 motor claim rule and a $50.00 shock claim rule. Now, that being said, everyone has more than $1050 in their motor, but, with the rock hard tires we have to run, you don't need much motor. I have about the same amount of money I had in my pros stock, but, I don't have to buy tires every other week and I can load up and go anywhere that runs IMCA and I am legal.
