I was really stoked to see the WoO Lm's compete at Selinsgrove only to have that rain storm blow thru. It hasn't rained since they pulled the plug.

It happens, let it go and get over it. They did the right thing, by opening the ticket booths for anyone to get their money back, without needing to mail them in and wait for a return. At least they now have their "foot in the door", and hopefully can schedule a show for next season with a rain date. It's always about getting into the picture first. . . With the amount of cars they had, next year could even be a two day show if the rain date isn't needed. Just a thought. . .

I think someone misunderstood the statement. They all pulled out of the pits early so as not to get stuck in the mud if they cancelled. They all sat in the parking lot waiting. We listened to them on the CB, they were all willing to go back in when the rain quit. Mark Richards seemed to be the only one in a hurry to leave. He kept saying his radar showed 3 -4 hours of steady rain. Do I think they pulled the plug too early?? Yes, I walked across the track a couple times and it was packed pretty tight, I think they could have gotten started by 8:00 and if they cut down on all the pagentry bullshit of interviewing all the drivers on the front stretch, they could have gotten done at a reasonable time. From what I heard the WoO people were very impressed with the track so I'm sure they will be back.
I also heard that the reason the guys that showed up Saturday night didn't race was that WoO told them they couldn't. Supposedly they have a rule for their traveling teams that prohibits them from practicing at a speedway withing 7 days prior to the event. Not sure how much truth there is to that.

I am sure that is what happened and I hope they make a return trip. I just get irked when the radar has been the same for an hour and they say, "we are going to wait this out." Then five minutes later they pull the plug. I can see why they pulled the plug, but they still had an hour before the start. Had they waited 15 minutes, everything would have been alright.
