I just read where Clinton County closed for the season I see a trend here this seems to happen every year I wonder if this has anything to do with Mr. Wasson's name being in the Williamsport news paper a couple weeks ago where he had 9 properties going up for sheriff sale. Wonder how this will effect the future of the race track hopefully someone will step up to keep it open

Fourth straight year? No surprise at all.... truely sad to see the decline of that speedway. I remember a press release last year after the disastrous all star race that many of the drivers offered to race for free to assist in the financial state of the track. Maybe an idea like that would work for next year?

That is a shame. Each time something like this happens, it makes it harder for the next person that takes over to get cars and fans to come back.

Regardless of what’s going on with Vern hopefully one way or another the track sticks around whether it be a new owner or not. The track could be really nice venue if some money would be invested into some clay and other odds and ends.
