I thought you had to have a STEEL body at Selinsgrove? I've seen at least 3 cars with aluminum cockpits, decking AND front and rear roof posts. You might as well let them run all aluminum bodies, its cheaper and easier to fix.

I have to some what agree with you. The Pro Stock division is a good division, however each year there is a least 1 rule that no longer means anything. The problem is not withe racers its with the enforcement!

I think it's a little of both. Every year they push a little farther and get away with something then next year its something else. Before you know it you have rules that mean nothing. Case in point. The rules say stock firewall in stock location. There isn't a car out there that has a stock firewall let alone in the stock location. It's been that way for years, but instead of changing the rules they just figure we'll let it go everyone knows they can do it.

I think that is the problem right there in what you said. They shouldn't even be saying we should change the rules. Make the teams change there cars to fit the rules. It's out of control, they have late models with pro stock like bodies on them and that is okay bc they look like pro stocks. Well it's not because the people without a late model underneath are screwed.

Looks like it's gonna be a LONG year for anyone that doesn't have one of those Late Models they're letting run as Pro Stocks. I'l go out on a limb and pick the champions at SG right now.. Sprints: Heimbach Lates: Rine Pro Stocks: Smith RoadRunners: Bussey

Didn't think they were allowing them so extreme at clinton county... that's where we will be most likely...

Yeah clinton is probably the worst. Allowed weight jacks, floater rear, and all aluminum body, you can run heim ends on the steering. And they don't tech, at least they didn't last year.

probably going to give it a try anyway... There are more of those late models to come to Selinsgrove so I'm willing to try somewhere else and Clinton is the closest

Easier on the motor too ;D ;D... I just got a bad feeling it's gonna be the Krape, A.Y. and Fourney show all year. Those guys work hard and they deserve it, but, it's not good from a fan stanpoint. I just don't see that class lasting very long, it's WAY out of control. Thats why I bought an IMCA, same amount of money in the car, payout is double what CC is paying and a level playing field with a national set of rules that are ENFORCED!! And theres a dozen tracks within 2 hours I can race at.

There are too many teams making too many excuses in this division! Concentrate on your program and don't worry about the other teams stuff and you will be better!
