I dont like the idea of losing some late model races BUT how can you afford to run them when you only get 14-16 cars a night?

I dont like the idea of losing some late model races BUT how can you afford to run them when you only get 14-16 cars a night? Other than the All Star sprint show, what has the average car count been for the sprint cars? I don't think the finger should be pointed at the Late Model car count only!

the avg car count for the sprint there is 20+ they usually run a consi every week there

Now, I'm not looking for speculation! I'm looking for an accurate number--not a 20+

Well.. Being that they only got 1 Sprint show in other than the All Star show, and that show had 23 entries, I would say the accurate number would be 23 ;D

and the numbers for the late models have been 15 - 16 - 14 for the 3 races they have had. I am not saying the sprints put on a better show or am I downgrading the late models but when you are not getting a full field something should be done that is all I am saying

Your absolutely right! Something needs to be done. I don't think it is the responsibilty of the racers what ever the division to draw cars. There needs to some creative promotion done by the management team to get that done. My issue with what has been done is there is a good chance that some of the teams might not come back because they are racing less for less money and how is that right when they are paying the same to maintain their equipment and fuel to get there....

yes I think it is the responsibility of the promotor/owner of the track to get the cars there but in doing that you are also requiring the use of more money to do the promoting or advertising that they might not have... I am guessing he is lacking sponsorship that he has had in the past and does not want to use all of his money for doing the promoting. Just a guess I dont know for sure though!

Put some money into the track/facility and it will promote itself. The track doesn't need to be the next Eldora, but it has been the same "cornfield" for entirely to long.

well then dirty harry if you have the money needed to make it a nicer track then put the money up and fix it. I am no way saying it does not need fixed BUT like with everything it all takes money!
