There was absolutely no need to drag the show, like Selinsgrove did last night, or should I say this morning. Knew it was going to be a long night once time trials started. Granted, they only got one lap, but why couldn't the next car be pushed off after one got the green flag. Then the constant waiting for the sprint cars to move when they are called. I'm not a Pat Cannon fan, but he is always one of the first to move when they are called. Then the long breaks, no need for these. Then Steve Inch has the balls to say, "we've been trying to run this as quickly as possible, we know it is a bit cool". . . . He treats the fans like they are all a bunch of morons. He could also give a little more effort into following what's happening on the track. He wasn't watching at all, then comes up with, "and Donnie Schick makes a pass around the outside for the lead". Don't have a clue what he was watching. Even Pat Cannon's pass for the lead, totally missed until he saw him in the lead off four. . . Liked when he was interviewing Donnie, and said, "great pass on the outside for the lead coming off four", then Donnie tells him the pass was in the inside. . . HUH . . .

Why does that surprise you? They get wing fever and all their common sense goes out the window. I don't think SG has EVER had a sprint special that they didn't drag out 2 times as long as it should have lasted! Fans like well run special shows not marathons! That is why I CHOOSE not to go there on these occassions!

and, at $25 a head, there were a lot of people leaving before the second half of the race was started. I'm sure this won't affect the thinking of the management, because they already had their money. They held them there for over five hours already, and the concession stands were out of just about everything by then. The thought here, should be, how many of those that left, are going to return for another "special" show....
