WOW !!!! He has the wool over your eyes. You will not persuade me to believe that. Gus may have helped raise the money but charlies chubby little fingers were in it. No matter the real problem is that he does not enforce the rules. I have talked to another person today that said they are done buying reserved season seats because of the B S

Well then don't buy 180-200 thousand dollar tow rigs. Not as much a problem with local late model team but just look at the 410 sprints.. How many of these teams actually go any where.

I thought they said there was a meeting with the prostock teams. because if thats try then i'm just wondering why I wasn't invited. my guess is that they only wanted the teams that the stiffer rules would affect there.

Just look through the history of Selinsgrove Speedway. What is currently known as the pro stocks, started as enduro stocks, then to street stocks, then to pro stocks. Each name change came after the division was allowed to get out of control with enforcing the rules. Then they change the name and start a new class with the original rules. Roadrunners were started as a replacement for the enduro stocks, which now have cars pushing the rules past the class they replaced. It all comes down to the promoter setting up the rules and then enforcing them to the letter, and not allowing any type of rule bending. Until someone gets a spine and enforces the rukes to the letter, nothing will change. . .

From what I saw there was no meeting with the teams, looked and sounded like Smith and the other money teams approached Charlie and threatened him with going to another track if he enforced the new rules, saying it would take to much to change there cars and of course Charlie caved on the spot.

I have been out of the pro stock game for a few years (you can read that as finally smartened up) so I'm not familiar with what guys are doing now. What is the issue with the leafs? Are they staggering them and using one Chrysler and one Chevy? I know there were a few guys doing this a few years ago. Are they running a Fast Boys set up by floating the right rear?? Are they doing both??

From what I heard (my uncle tries to race there.... can't keep a motor from blowing up tho) the rule change as far as the springs were concerned, were no wedge set ups. There was also word about the strut cars having their struts reworked and also the fast boy setup. The only thing that stayed was eliminating the fast boy set up by having the spring perches welded completely around the housing. Again, thats just what I heard so take it for what its worth.

If thats the case, then Charlie caved for no reason. Where are they gonna go?? Sounds like Port is enforcing the rules so they wouldn't be legal there. Most of the guys you are calling "money teams" are running dry sump motors so they aren't legal at Clinton.

I agree, but according to CW there's no avantage with a dry sump set-up, no horsepower gain, LOL, I guess someone was stupid enough to fall for that to.

Also heard from a good sorce that they have done no teching at all in either the Road Runner or Pro-Stock classes yet, even after four races, no safety checks, nothing.

What all the local tracks need for this division is an unbiased tech guy that has full reign over the rules and no affiliation with anybody in the division. Port does seem to be cracking down on the rules, but Towsey is the tech guy and has a car in the race... Which also won last weekend. Clinton doesnt car much about the pro stock rules, they just check to make sure you have a holley 4412. And apparently at Selinsgrove, if you have some money then you make your own rules.
