The tire deal while stupid and unfortunate that it was even allowed to happen pales in comparison to not paying the advertised start money. What's everyone elses thoughts? I'm concerned because it shouldn't happen to any division.

I agree.... Thats the bigger issue. The tire deal can be debated all day long as to who's right, but, if it was advertised as $100 to start and they only paid $50, then thats pretty cut and dry.

The fact that the track seems to be ignoring the money issue makes it even worse. Ignoring it and not addressing it is disrespectful to the teams. Inkspot Printing sponsors the race so they should also be questioning where the money went that was supposed to be paid to the racers. They also charged $2 extra admission but still only paid half the advertised start amount? I know I would never be sponsoring a race again if the advertised payout was not actually paid.
The tire deal could have been avoided, the track knew prior to the race, several teams have said they called or talked to Charlie personally. The track dropped the ball and now are feigning ingnorance to the whole situation!

It seems like he takes advantage of situations like this from time to time. The pro stock guys put on a good show and don't deserve the rip off they got. He seems to get sponsors to pay for the bigger races and then charge at the gate for it also. The Paul Long race for the late models was the same sort of situation. Started out 10 grand to win and only like 15 bucks to get in. That is the way the people that put the race together wanted it. Then charlie got greedy and raised the admission to 25 but had no increased cost on his end to need to do so. That race is no longer. Maybe he could sell his pretty light board that sits atop the announcer stand and only worked a few times then give some of that money to the racers he has been short changing.

You guys are all wrong because Ink Spot printing ended up not sponsoring this race this season. Owner was mad because Charlie didnt have him print the schedules this yar that were for mall show.
