Late model fans, or at least certain late models fans, are either the world's most ardent conspiracy theorists, or the biggest friggan tools in the tool box. An entire night of racing was lost, not just a late model race. If they're able to reschedule that race, great. If not, it won't stop the world.

i've had this nagging question in my head all week. why do swimming pools and car washes close on cloudy or threatening weather days? Why does NASCAR race on cloudy days? Their tracks aren't supposed to be wet at all.

hey hank do you think the lates and there fans get a fare shake at sel.thats see there was the paul long that lasted what 2 races, then the speedweek race 1 because someone didnt want to race any days but sat.or sun.then a little rain on there parade and it goes on and on.ask the bernheisels how they were treated.

Yep. They get a fair shake. Cryin' towels will be handed out at the gate. Next question.

because they can take all day and night to dry the track, they can race on monday or tuesday and because it doesn't matter how many people show up because the track already has all their expenses covered by the pre sale of tickets. three things that aren't feasible for local dirt tracks to do.

FACTthe AMLMSW was held for 2 years not 1 and was not cancelled because someone wouldn't race any days but sat or sun. sunday was taken away and given to roaring knob to save travel miles. turns out it was a whopping 45 miles saved. selinsgrove WAS NOT offered another night of the week. the only option given to them was with the uncertainty at the time of Port Royals situation, the possibility of having ports night if port didn't want it or port didn't open. i saw the email that was sent to the speedway from AMLMSW. FACTand if they're not getting a fair shake at SG what are they getting elsewhere. SG pays more than any local track except HT and the pit admission is equal to or less than anyone elses. they get several long distance/increase purse races a year and are part of the weekly program. so if that's not getting a fair shake what are they getting at PR, L, WG, CC, TW, SUS etc.

i've had this nagging question in my head all week. why do swimming pools and car washes close on cloudy or threatening weather days? jeez, thought it was such a simple question....the correct answer is BECAUSE NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE WILL FREQUENT THE BUSINESS when it's like that but i guess it's ok for them because they are a business. OH, WAIT. SO IS SELINSGROVE SPEEDWAY.

Ok Scotty, Lets talk about fair shakes. How many "PREMIER" extra distance extra pay events do the sprint cars (for weekly 358's) get at SG? Now how many (of the same statis)do the Late Models get? Now, how many shows are scheduled for other open wheeled divisions that are not SG regulars vs. other shows for LM"s that are not regulars at SG?
By the way, if you can stand the drama hankg, I would like if you could hang around cause it "seems" as thou you are a sprint fan and you might be able to add some info if needed.

Who said anything about drying a track, or racing on Mondays? We were simply talking about it being cloudy, much like Saturday night. It's cloudy at my house right now, guess what, it's not raining.
