We did know about the new tires we had all the facts right there black and white the part #'s did not match up to what the rules said. We showed the tech guy and according to the rules because the rules have the part # them tires were illegal it don't matter if the tire we were on for 4 years are discontinued or not because 98% of the prostocks were on the legal tires. The rule should be in effect this coming up week because the track is now informed of the tires being discontinued.

thunderman on one of the previous threads you asked why they have rules if they aren't going to enforce them, now when someone wants them enforced you are calling people names and seem to think its ok to bend the rules. Which is it, follow the rule book or throw it out, you can't have it both ways? Regardless to whether the approved tires are discontinued or not, they are available. If someone is saying you can't get them they are full of it. Bernheisel got a trailer load of the approved tire. A&A still has the approved tire, the only person who did not was Larry Miller at the track and lets guess who benefits there! You are saying Troy/Shaun dropped the ball. NO they bought the approved tire like 22 other teams last night and raced legal. 2 and only 2 teams had the illegal tire.

I am digusted with selingrove speedway. When they announced that they dq'd them last nite the croud cheered. I don't think it was because they don't like aj or bachman. It was because for the first time in years they actually teched and were doing something to tame the insane money spending cheating teams. Lets face it you can go to selinsgrove and pick the winner week after week before the race starts. In every division the racing at selinsgrove is not that entertaining because they allow politics to rule the race. That being said I was disappointed in the car count. The pits looked empty to me. Miller,Schmidt, wray, lauvers, etc need to go to port and race. Where it is a little more driver skill instead of money and politics. That would put the other guys in a race of there own at selins which is what charlie obviously wants. Oh Charlie's bag o money should have been pretty light last nite. Nope he just took it from the 10 place and back cars by not paying the 100 he said he would. Shady like the save the track money. WHERE IS NOW!!!!!!!!

NO they bought the approved tire like 22 other teams last night and raced legal. 2 and only 2 teams had the illegal tire. you miller fans will whine and ball about this one forever, fact is the older tires are discontinued period, says it right on the statement from hoosier, you admit to knowing about the statement before the race, you knew it was going to be a problem because you waited to see who was going to finish ahead of you before you brought it to light. because you thought you stood to gain if you did it your way, i don't care if a&a & bernheisel have 6 truck trailer loads of the old tires or not, fact is what a&a and bernheisel have in stock is old stock, the tires have been replaced, what miller had was the new stock and he is the tire man at the track. next thing is you'll want a rule that tells you where and who you have to buy your tires from, thing is the new replacement is the tire that was on the two cars in front of your kids and weither you took notice to it or not several other cars that were behind him bought them and had them on as well, two or three other cars did there homework asked about the tire found out it was being allowed and in fact had it on. but what you can't get past is your bunch dropped the ball and lost out by not asking about it before saturday night, period. get over it and quit your balling, you should have looked into it, you knew it was available. you screwed yourself not charlie or the speedway. i'm all for the rules being enforced, but in this case enforced with a little common sense.

I approached the new tech man and showed him the tire, He said. We have to see what Charlie says". So I took a crew member with me and we went into Charlies office. I asked him if the tire was ok because I couldn't find any others and according to Hoosier, they will all be the same from here on in. Charlie said YES... Its ok. Kind of sounds like charlie dropped the ball and didn't tell the tech guy his verdict on the new tires when somebody informed him before the race about the new tires. And truth be told you wont see my 29 there any more

typical selinsgrove speedway. its not who you know its who you blow around that place or who has the fattest pocketbook! if you have money charlie lets anything slide.i can count on one hand the pro stocks who out dollar everyone.they need to worry more about the cost of the engines more then anything. you got guys putting 20,000 plus in a pro stock engine to win a measley 400. can you say more money then brains. that make it hard for the average racecar team working average jobs to compete in a lower class. they need to do what port royal did have compression rule. im not a big fan of port royal but that seems to be the track enforcing rules. so charlie better do somthing or he,ll loose the best class he has!!!!

This is surely a thread that is going to lead to another rain out without any freaking rain. LOL. It is also a joke that he would charge an extra 2 bucks to get in for general admission and then not pay the pro stock guys the money he posted he was gonna.

I do have to wonder, would you guys have supported the ones your bitching about if they had lost the race because they could not get the tires they were supposed to have. I have a gut suspicion you would be saying oh well thats the way it goes. Suck it up.

I don't think I really have a problem with any one driver on the track, because I try to get along with everyone. But the way I think in the end if the track would keep on every ones ass so that everyone knew they weren't going to get away with any thing the racing would be a lot closer and would be a lot of fun. I couldn't tell you for sure if someone is cheating or not and neither could most anyone else with out seeing it happening right in front of them. I not sure that it really takes all kinds of money in a motor to win. Ill tell you that my three thousand dollar motor has to much on some nights. So if your spending the bank on horsepower then you are dumber then you look because we only run on a 9'' tire you can only get so much grip out of it. You would be wiser to spend it on tire prep. Basically if it was possible to make every ones cars the same so there was no mechanical advantage from one style suspension to the other there wouldn't be any bitching because everyone would be on the same plain. Then if the same couple guys beat me every week I'd just walk over shake there hand drink a beer with them an think this guy must be a lot better driver then the rest of us. Until the track gets on there game you'll rarely see this happen coming from a group of people that set out three years ago to find the same spot on every car to place a transponder and still hasn't come up with the answer for that rule yet either. Yours truly Adam Wray

From what I have gathered over in the pits is this. Apparently hoosier came out with a new tire a few weeks ago and Bachman and Hoffman have them. So during the drivers meeting Bachman ASKED Charlie if they were legal Charlie said yes. Then after the race Miller went right in and protested. The Tech guy checked the tires and deemed them illegal then because Charlie already said they were legal he reversed the tech mans decision. Then after all the hooplah in the press release it was said the race was $100 to start and he gave them all only $50 for starting the race. SO that being said I'd say we wont have more than 10 Pro Stocks anymore as drivers were pissed. they went to charlie and asked but it should be what the techman says goes or charlie could have told the techman that they were leagal so that mishap wouldnt of happened or he could have told the other drivers
