You know, if you took the time and actually learned the tecnology behind race cars. You could build your own car for a portion of the price! Do you think these chassis builders woke up one day and suddenly experienced great knowledge of chassis technology? No, they did there homework(through trial and error) and actually took the time to learn and understand chassis. They didnt come on a message board and act like a child who just dropped his lollipop in the sand! There is nothing these chassis builders are doing that YOU CANT DO YOURSELF! But the question is......Will you take the time to learn? Or will you continue to blow off on a message board and hope that makes progress stop so you can keep up? So then, what your saying is AY should have done the homework on his old car instead of giving up on it and buying a new one? ? No. Listen, AY had the choice to either learn how to build his own or buy a new one. He also had the choice to make his old car better as well. He chose to purchase one. Maybe he didnt want to do his homework......Maybe he didnt have the time to build one....Or maybe he had the funds available to buy one and did! Either way it was his choice to do so. These cars are not grown from magical beans!! They are built! So back to my original post! Either buy one or build one! Or make yours better. Its not rocket science......Its chassis science!

I'm sure that, that car might be a Rocket but it was purchased used and as a wrecked car for the cage only. I am sure that is less money than purchasing a new Sleeper chassis.! Hmm... Last time I called Sleeper, they would build a car a whole lot cheaper than $11,000.00 Do you even know what he got for that price? ?? From what i have been told it was a complete brand new car from bumper to bumper...Excluding the engine. Do the math. Open up a speedway motors catalog and start adding up...Bumper to Bumper. it doesnt take long to get there.

I heard no engine trans, rearend or tires and wheels. Not that it really matters, like you said, it's his choice. Anybody that wants to spend that kind of money to win $275.00 can go right ahead. I know I won't be doing it.

ok people this has gone way too far...noone cared when we couldn't even finish in the top 10 last year, or at the beginning of this year, but as soon as we had the opportunity to get a new car, which was paid for mostly by sponsors and parts off the old car...if you all must know, and we started winning then all of a sudden we are illiegal. This is a square tube chasis, like most cars in this division which are late models or professionally built. We all go to CC to race and have a good time, what is so hard about that?! Last week we got up into Fye and he turned back into us hooking the cars together and making it worse that it should have been, but that is racing and it happens to everyone at one point in time.

this is the last time i will comment on this car, for starters last weeks race was nothing more than what the 28 driver has done since the 90's wreck anyone who gets in his way, as far them updating their old car it wasn't going to happen, the brains of that operation moved south, think about this, it won 3 races this year and luckily for the 28, krape did not finish any of the 3, krape has been beaten only twice this year, someone went on about skip taking orders for these cars that were illegal until krape came in and won the first 4 or 5 races, well if you wanna get to the real source of these cars you need to see Todd long and company they are the real brains behind these cars, i guess allowing a strut car with leaf springs was Vern's way of stopping krape, well guess what that didn't happen, fourney is the only car that can beat krape, krape finished 2nd to him twice and probably should have friday if he wouldn't have pulled off a block on the last lap. fye came close a couple times but that is all it has been, i bet now that these cars are allowed there will more next year

There will be more of those cars next year.. and those that can't compete will quickly lose interest. Then it will be like Port, barely able to get a ten car field and run features only half the time. IMHO Vern has lost interest in the place. He doesn't want to have to tech and deal with it, so it's pretty much run what you brung. Anybody know what the deal is with the open pro stock show on Oct. 2nd. Be interesting to see some of the western Pa cars show up with 406's, four barrels and 10 inch tires and see if Krape and AY can run with them... If they can maybe it will actually get Verns attention......

maybe you guys dont follow any other tracks but clinton county but krape has ran at Central PA speedway almost all year with his same setup and keeps up with the 406 4 barrel guys from western PA... actually most of the time he beats them. The guy that won every race at CPR this year runs a 358 with a 2 barrel. more motor doesnt always mean faster
